If the battle of Gujarat and and Ghori's defeat at the hands of Queen Naikidevi of Gujarat (and her infant son) is just a popular myth, why did contemporary Muslim historians themselves admit that Ghori was defeated and "the Army of Islam was defeated and put to rout"? https://t.co/mGrWTBykNn

Tabaqat I Nasiri was written by classical Muslim historian Minhaj-I-Siraj(c.1200)
He admits that in the year 1178, Ghori invaded Nahrwala (Anahilwada, Gujarat) by the way of Multan. But "Army of Islam was defeated and put to rout. Sultan returned without accomplishing anything" pic.twitter.com/KVxtDhwDXV
