Sachindranath's was born in Benar as in 1893. His ancestry was in Hooghly due to which he developed contact with revolutionaries early in his life. In 1913 when he was only 20 he opened up a Anushilan Samiti branch in Patna. Only 20 ! Let that sink in.

Two years later British govt came to know about a plan to initiate a Pan-Indian mutiny in the British Indian armed forces. Legendary Rasbehari Bose was one of the key organiser of this plan. & helped him hatching in this conspiracy. Police started looking for both. Rasbehari escaped to Japan while Sanyal was eventually arrested & put into life sentence in the Andaman. There he wrote, "life in captivity" which became a must read among revolutionaris.

He was released later but he continued with his anti-British activities. To punish him British govt confiscated his ancestral home in Kashi. That failed to stop him. Meanwhile, a new leader began rising in the Indian political scene. Mahatma Gandhi.

Sanyal engaged with him in a famous debate between 1920 to 1924. Following the end of non-cooperation movement was the final straw. Sanyal, Ramprasad Bismil & few others decided to set up a revolutionary org. In the oct, 1924 Hindustan Republican Association was set up.

Sanyal wrote the manifesto of HRA & began to distribute it in the large cities of North India.

Young men such as Bhagat singh, Chandrasekhar Azad & Rajendranath lahiri joined it. While Sanyal was a firm Hindu, some associates became attracted towards Marxism.
Then Kakori conspiracy case happened. This time Brits sent him to the Andaman, again. He was put through inhuman torture. He became severely weakened as a result he was released into Naini central prison in 1937.

In 1942 he developed tuberculosis. Brits transferred him to Gorakhpur jail. He died few months later there. End of an era.
