Body, mind, and spirit all benefit from the integrative practice of yoga. A very old type of spiritual practice descended from the yoga system is known as kriya yoga.

It can be characterized as the science of harmonizing the life energy in a way that promotes physical and mental well-being as well as greater levels of consciousness and self-realization.
Man can easily ascend to the higher spiritual planes with Kriya Yoga. Although Kriya Yoga must be learned under the supervision of an experienced spiritual master, we can talk about the five key steps in its practice: Nabhi Kriya, Spinal Breathing, Maha Mudra Exercise, Yoni Mudra and Third Eye Meditation. Kriya Yoga must be practiced in a calm, unhurried manner while perfecting each stage.
1st Kriya Yoga (Nabhi Kriya)
Sit in the traditional squatting position, padmasana or sukhasana. Pay close attention to the area immediately below your naval. Chant “om” 15 times in your head. Then, with your attention on your naval region, mentally say “om” 25 times. Chant “om” 35 times while concentrating on the back of your neck.
2nd Kriya Yoga (Spinal Breathing)
Your focus should be on the spinal column. Travel through the six chakras in your mind while mentally repeating “om” and taking deep breaths.
Exhale, then mentally move to the lowest chakra along the spinal column while saying “om.” This should be done 15 times.
3rd Kriya Yoga (Maha Mudra)
Inhale while maintaining a straight posture. the area between your eyebrows after mentally moving from the medulla to the crown. You should extend one of your legs and use all of your fingers to grasp the toes.
Your forehead should meet the knee of the extended leg as you flex your spine. Take a mental journey from the center of the eyebrows back to the medulla through the crown, then immediately return to your starting location. Stretch out the opposite leg and repeat the process. Do four Maha Mudras in this manner.
4th Kriya Yoga (Yoni Mudra)
The area immediately below your naval has a focvus. While mentally chanting “om,” feel the sensation in that area. Continue saying “om” for a total of eleven times.
3rd Eye Meditation
The Kriya Yoga process comes to a close with this. Imagine a bright, circular area in the middle of the forehead. Chant “om” in your head as you go around the edge of that light.
Feel the sensation on your forehead as you do this, and then feel the sensations throughout your entire body. This should be done 35 times.
